Before the majestic Pyramids of Giza, the enigmatic Sphinx and the incomparable treasures of the Great Egyptian Museum, we take our first steps on a journey that takes us thousands of years back, to the time of the pharaohs, gods and eternal empires.

We then head to the heart of the mythical Nile River, where we embark on an unforgettable experience among golden landscapes and ancient civilizations. In Aswan, among traditional feluccas, sacred temples and serene islands, we feel the most authentic Egypt. Sailing through the waters that gave life to one of the greatest civilizations of humanity, each stop reveals unique chapters of a monumental history.

From Kom Ombo to Edfu, we discover majestic temples dedicated to ancestral gods, where imposing columns, millenary reliefs and sacred legends continue to live on in time. Each night that dawns on the Nile brings with it new landscapes, new stories and a deep connection to the soul of Egypt.

Itinerary

Day 01

Lisbon / Athens

Appearance at Lisbon airport 180 minutes before the departure date. After embarkation formalities, departure at 12:00 on Aegean flight to Athens. Arrival in Athens at 17:55.

Day 02

Athens / Cairo

"Plane change. Boarding at 00:50 to Cairo. 

Arrival at Cairo International Airport at 02:55. Welcome to Egypt. Reception of the group and transfer to the hotel for check-in. Accommodation in Cairo for a few hours of rest.

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, panoramic visit to the Three Pyramids of Giza: Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos, the architectural complex considered the most important of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Visit to the Sphinx, with a human head attributed to King Chephren and a lion's body, as well as the Temple of Chephren. Visit to a perfume shop. Lunch at a local restaurant. Return to the hotel and dinner.

Day 03

Cairo

"Breakfast at the hotel. 

Guided visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, the largest museum in the world, to know its 12 recently inaugurated galleries, the large staircase, and the courtyard with the imposing statue of Ramses II, among many other fascinating spaces. Lunch at a local restaurant and free time for shopping at the famous Khan el Khalili market. 

Transfer to the hotel and dinner. 

Accommodation in Cairo.

Day 04

Cairo / Aswan / Nile Cruise

"Breakfast at the hotel. 

Transfer to Cairo Airport for flight to Aswan. 

Arrival and start of visits: 

High Dam, considered at the time the largest dam in the world; 

Unfinished Obelisk in the granite quarries; 

Philae Temple (Temple of the goddess Isis), transferred to the island of Egelikia to protect it from the waters of the Nile. 

Felucca ride around the islands of Aswan. 

Transfer to the boat, boarding, lunch on board. Dinner and night on board.

Day 05

Nile Cruise / Aswan / Kom Ombo / Edfu

"Breakfast on board. 

Navigation to Kom Ombo. 

Visit to the temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Haroeris, known for its reliefs of medical instruments. 

Lunch on board. 

Continuation of navigation to Edfu. Dinner and night on board.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner."

Day 06

Nile Cruise – Edfu / Esna / Luxor

Breakfast on board. 

Visit to the Temple of Horus, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. It stands out for its architecture and the system of progressively reduced lighting until the sanctuary. 

Lunch on board. Navigation to Luxor. 

Visit to the Karnak complex, the largest temple in Egypt, with its avenue of rams and hypostyle hall of 132 columns. 

Visit also to the Temple of Luxor, dedicated to Amon-Ra. 

Dinner and night on board.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner.'

Day 07

Descent in Luxor/Cairo

Disembarkation on board after breakfast. 

Visit the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of the pharaohs of the New Kingdom are located, and the funerary temple of Hatshepsut. 

Continue to the Colossi of Memnon. 

Lunch at leisure. 

Transfer to Luxor airport for return flight to Cairo. 

Arrival, assistance and transfer to the hotel. 

Dinner at the hotel.
